Energy Sector Business Growth Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
This is a headquarters-based role with regular travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Pursue and convert new business opportunities through market research and developing win strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Translate AEC's vision into actionable plans.
- Create market and project pursuit plans to expand AEC's project pipeline.
- Support pre-contracts and estimating functions by defining AEC's value proposition and negotiating contracts.
- Conduct market analysis and gather industry intelligence.
- Lead internal teams to ensure alignment and address client needs effectively.
- Deep understanding of the energy infrastructure sector in Australia and New Zealand.
- Leadership ability, effective communication, and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of power industry standards and compliance requirements.
- A growth mindset with a proven track record of converting opportunities into successful outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or technical skills related to construction and energy infrastructure development.
