Catalyst for Enterprise-Wide Engagement

Description:

This is a mid-senior level, full-time role that serves as the key connector between the Enterprise Data Office and various stakeholders within the university's diverse landscape.

  • Create and deliver engagement strategies that resonate with the target audience, focusing on impact-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Change Manager and EDO Leadership team to design, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive engagement framework aligned with strategic goals and compliance requirements.
  • Tailor approaches to meet the unique needs of diverse stakeholders, fostering strong relationships across faculties, divisions, and external partners.
  • Develop compelling narratives and messaging that position the EDO as UNSW's centre of excellence for data, driving awareness and understanding among stakeholders.
  • Drive content creation across multiple channels, including infographics, newsletters, workshops, town halls, and more, to promote data literacy and informed decision-making.

You will be responsible for championing data-informed decision-making, delivering awareness and training sessions that empower the wider UNSW community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Map stakeholders comprehensively, coordinate communications, and foster a strong, aligned data community across faculties, divisions, and external partners.
  • Play a key role in change management activities supporting both project initiatives and business-as-usual operations within the EDO.
  • Own and refine engagement metrics and reporting frameworks to continuously improve strategy and outcomes.
  • Develop insights from stakeholder engagement to inform enterprise data governance, policy development, and strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a vital liaison between the EDO and university faculties, divisions, and external partners, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide data strategy.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories that make data human. They should also have experience driving engagement and managing multi-stakeholder communications, along with confidence in building relationships and influencing at all levels of a large organisation.
