Student Ambassador Role

We are seeking enthusiastic students to become Student Ambassadors, representing the University in a positive and professional manner at events such as Open Days, university expos, on-campus days for high school students, and events on high school campuses.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the University in a positive and professional manner at events.
  • Proactively engage future students and other stakeholders and share your experiences of university with diverse audiences.
  • Lead campus tours for individuals and groups of prospective students.
  • Deliver workshops and presentations to groups of high school students and parents about Notre Dame, admissions, scholarships, transition into university and what university is like.
  • Undertake tasks such as organising merchandise, data entry, event preparation, social media, and phone calls to students.
  • Attend training, team meetings, and other development opportunities as scheduled during the year.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To have completed at least one semester of study at the University by the end of 2025 and have at least one year of study remaining.
  • To have a current Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • To have excellent customer service skills.
  • To be available to work at events outside of regular business hours, including some evenings and weekends.
