Job Description

Toll Group is seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maximizing the benefit derived from contracts while minimizing risk associated with clients and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles, as well as logical, critical, and systems thinking skills.

The Contract Specialist will be responsible for preparing new contracts, mobilizing new contracts, providing advice on contractual matters, and developing and maintaining systems, procedures, and precedents concerning contract management.

They will also liaise with the Legal and Insurance functions to ensure that risks identified are appropriately understood and managed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Engineering, or similar – beneficial but not necessary.
  • Operational experience that has included commercial and/or contract management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach colleagues in commercial and contract management principles.
  • Logical, critical, and systems thinking skills.
