Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our high-performing team in Sydney.

This role involves overseeing the execution of daily activities, supporting field personnel, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. You will also assist in identifying training needs and providing input into team development.

The ideal candidate should possess a restricted electrical license, technical knowledge of data centres, telecom, commercial, and industrial industries, as well as experience within the Air Conditioning or precision cooling industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quotes for small works, time and materials (T&M), installations, and start-ups.
  • Mentor field personnel in their daily activities.
  • Prepare reports as requested by management.
  • Ensure accurate timesheet entry.
  • Identify training needs for the team.
  • Coordinate and schedule general duties of Customer Engineers and subcontractors.
  • Equip Customer Engineers with calibrated tools, PPE, and documentation.
  • Respond to customer requests for minor quotations or service advice.
  • Complete follow-ups generated by Customer Engineers.
  • Assist with complex technical problems.
  • Participate in the after-hours call-out roster.
  • Conduct quality audits as required by company policy.
  • Lead as a Service Project Manager on large project startups or maintenance.
