About the Opportunity

Our organisation seeks a highly skilled People and Culture Advisor to support strategic and operational HR initiatives.

  • Provide generalist HR advice across performance management, onboarding, retention, and career development.
  • Manage employee relations cases including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Support the implementation of people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with recruitment to advise on remuneration, selection, and placement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and policies.
  • Facilitate leadership capability development and coach leaders through people-related matters.
  • Contribute to change and culture initiatives that support organisational outcomes.

This role plays a key part in delivering best practice outcomes, supporting employee relations, and contributing to our People Plan.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications or a diploma in HR or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a generalist People and Culture role.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and labour laws.
  • Skilled in managing complex employee cases and coaching leaders.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Eligibility

This role requires a National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to NV1 level.

You must obtain and maintain such clearance to be eligible for this role.
