Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled developer with a strong background in IDMS, Cobol, JCL, and mainframe-based technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in Oracle/SQL-Server/Postgresql database SQL performance tuning, relational database design and modelling, and expertise in relational to XML schema dynamic modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IDMS applications using Cobol and JCL
- Design and implement relational databases using Oracle/SQL-Server/Postgresql
- Optimise database performance and resolve issues
- Collaborate with the development team to deliver software development initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as an application analyst programmer/developer
- Strong knowledge of IDMS, Cobol, JCL, and mainframe-based technologies
- Experience in Oracle/SQL-Server/Postgresql database SQL performance tuning, relational database design and modelling
- Good working knowledge of OSB/SOAP and Rest Services in a corporate environment
Benefits:
This is a full-time contract role, working 37.5 hours per week. The position is based in Adelaide and requires the ability to work onsite.
