Key Commercial Position

The organisation is seeking a strategic and commercially savvy professional to spearhead the development of its tendering function.

This high-impact role involves building and leading the end-to-end tendering capability across multiple business divisions, targeting contracts with government departments, educational institutions and corporate customers.

  • Establishing and developing the tendering team's skills and expertise from scratch
  • Identifying and pursuing procurement opportunities in various sectors
  • Coordinating the preparation of responses for RFQs, RFPs and other tender formats
  • Designing pricing models and commercial strategies aligned with business targets
  • Ensuring all responses meet compliance, legal and submission requirements
  • Managing internal workflows and documentation to support timely and accurate submissions
  • Tracking tender outcomes, reporting on performance and implementing improvements to increase win rates
  • Collaborating with other departments to drive commercial success

To succeed in this position, you should possess a University Degree in a relevant field (Commerce, Business or similar), experience in commercial sales, business development or account management, and knowledge of government or B2B procurement processes – tender experience preferred.
