Job Title: Business Development Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and deepening client partnerships across the mining landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share in the mining industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans that meet the needs of our clients and drive business success.
  • Lead business development efforts to expand our presence in the mining and resources sector, focusing on emerging commodities such as iron ore, rare earth metals, and other strategic minerals.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities with Tier 1 mining companies, positioning our organization as a trusted partner of choice.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in consultancy, sales, business development, or client account management within the mining industry.
  • Strong network and credibility in Australia's mining sector, ideally with deep ties to the iron ore market.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic pursuits and deliver value through integrated, multidisciplinary solutions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Passion for sustainability, digital transformation, and workforce development in mining.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to think strategically and creatively, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
