We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to join the opening team of Batard. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests and team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team in a premium a-la-carte dining environment
  • Assist in the opening and launch of a new restaurant
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and guests
  • Ensure exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and resources efficiently

Requirements
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager in a premium dining environment
  • Restaurant opening experience is advantageous
  • Proven track record in leading a high-performing team
  • Exceptional service skills and guest focus
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment and high-pressure service periods
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation
  • Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Must possess a valid RSA certificate
