Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Hospitality Recruits. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our restaurant(s) located in a boutique Melbourne Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the front of house team, ensuring exceptional customer service and a high-quality dining experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to ensure seamless integration of restaurant operations with hotel services.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance in the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Manage budgets and financial reports to ensure profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Diploma in hospitality or an equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits, with the ability to create a unique and memorable dining experience.
