Job OverviewThis position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals in the provision of space and accommodation services, while also being involved in minor works projects.
- Leadership Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and developing their team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Customer Focus: Building strong relationships with university staff, students, consultants, contractors, and suppliers is crucial to delivering excellent service outcomes.
The role requires exposure to various types of projects, including infrastructure upgrades and construction of new and refurbished spaces, such as labs, teaching spaces, offices, and student facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and develop the team, ensure workload resourcing, mentorship, and provide recommendations and support in complex matters.
- User Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key college and portfolio staff, accommodation users to meet their needs.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
This includes leading a customer-service focused team, providing responsive, consistent and proactive leadership, building strong relationships, and exposure to varied projects.
