As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects.

This position is part of a major construction project in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, involving the development of a 660MW power station.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical documentation, developing inspection records, verifying personnel qualifications, monitoring quality records, and preparing status reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough reviews of technical documents to ensure specifications and drawings are accurate and complete

- Develop and maintain detailed inspection records and coordinate inspection activities

- Verify the qualifications and experience of personnel involved in the project

- Monitor quality records and initiate corrective action when necessary

- Prepare regular status reports and assemble cost control data as required

Requirements:

- Proven experience in heavy industry or construction environment

- Previous experience in Welder Quality Control

- Relevant trade and technical qualifications

- Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite and quality management software

- Knowledge of AS9001 standards

- Experience working in operations, construction, and commissioning environments

- Strong HSSE awareness
