Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Digital Experience Designer to join our Jira Service Management Growth team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences that meet the needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of design principles and human-centered design methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

You will be responsible for leading the design process from discovery to delivery, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong facilitation and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in leading design teams and guiding them to impactful outcomes using design thinking methods informed by user empathy and data-driven insights.
  • 5+ years of professional Product Design experience, preferably with exposure to product-led growth contexts.
  • Evidence of strong storytelling capability, creating compelling narratives through solid arguments backed by data.
  • A desire to learn mindset, favoring movement and learning over perfection.
  • Strong expertise in identifying balanced trade-offs between process and execution without compromising quality.
  • Ability to execute end-to-end, from discovery to documented design files.
  • Demonstrated love for open iterative design processes, constantly sketching, showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, learning, growing, and shipping customer value.
  • Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions.
