About the Role

As a Dry Fire Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing dry fire systems and firefighting equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and progress your career in a supportive environment.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with the option for overtime where applicable. You will be based at one of our sites in Kalgoorlie and have access to a vehicle or fuel card for travel.

Your key duties will include inspecting, testing, maintaining, servicing, and installing dry fire systems and firefighting equipment to industry standards. You will also conduct routine inspections and servicing of portable fire systems and equipment, as well as installation and maintenance of electrical facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a dry fire technician
  • Familiarity with fire indicator panels and certification to industry standards
  • Certification in electrotechnology (desired but not essential)
  • A-grade electrical license (desired but not essential)
  • FPAS accreditation (desired but not essential)
  • Ability to carry out inspections on fire equipment to AS 1851
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, including AS 1851, AS 1668, AS 1670, AS 2220, and AS 3000
