This is a challenging role within the Paediatric Department of the Department of Health Tasmania.

About the Role:
  • The successful applicant will have specialised in the field of Paediatric Physiotherapy and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage a varied and dynamic caseload, including rehabilitation, oncology, orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory, developmental, mental health and eating disorders.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Working as part of the greater multidisciplinary team to manage a varied and dynamic caseload.
  2. Providing supervision, education and support for rotating Level 1/2 Physiotherapists and students.
  3. Managing children across a wide range of clinical areas.
Additional Information:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, with some travel within the Northern region required.
