The job involves leading the Embedded Risk team in Institutional Banking to manage non-financial risk & conduct processes.

This role is pivotal in shaping the risk culture to achieve fair outcomes for clients, protect market integrity, meet regulatory requirements and protect staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess risks, controls and regulatory obligations across Institutional Banking Business profile in alignment with risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
  • Manage a team to drive continuous improvement of business control environment, thorough investigation of incidents and resolution of issues.
  • Anticipate and respond to emerging risks, conduct thematic reviews and shape proactive risk mitigation processes and controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in Non-Financial Risk, Conduct or Compliance roles within Institutional Banking or Financial Markets.
  • Deep understanding of operational risk frameworks, control design, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking, and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
