Overview of Job Responsibilities:
The role involves IT administration, coordinating system reliability, user access management, and delivering training and competency assessments for various teams across the organization.
Collaboration with functional areas is essential to provide level 1 ICT technical support. Additionally, participation in the implementation and maintenance of the IDE Management Plan ensures alignment with the contracted scope of work.
As a champion of enterprise-wide adoption of IDE governance processes, the successful candidate will contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities to create new value.
- Solving complex problems requires detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
- Developing and improving processes using experience and problem-solving skills.
- Designing new approaches to problems encountered.
- Planning, scheduling, and conducting work that involves judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of ICT techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Performing work which involves conventional practice but may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, systems integration, information security, and difficult coordination requirements.
- Providing technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or IT Management.
- Experience in providing ICT System Administration/technical support services within a large corporate environment.
- Highly developed organisational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated abilities to develop positive working relationships through high-level communications skills.
- A minimum of 5 years related experience, with typical experience ranging from 7-10 years.
- Eligibility to view ITAR protected materials.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in IT service delivery within the Department of Defence.
- Experience in supporting sustainment programs within CASG.
