Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe're looking for a Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer to join our dynamic Airframe Structures Team in Brisbane or Sydney.
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing essential support for our diverse portfolio of commercial and military fixed and rotary-wing aircraft programs.
Reporting to your Team Lead and guided by your Technical Lead, you'll leverage your expertise in materials to develop, approve, and help deliver safe, practical, and agile design solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer to contribute directly to the airworthiness and longevity of critical aerospace assets.What You'll BringTo thrive in this role, you'll be a proactive and collaborative engineer with a solid foundation in aerospace materials and process.
You'll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a high-performing team in a continuous improvement environment.We're looking for someone who demonstrates:5+ years of hands-on aerospace M&P experience covering repair or new designs.
This includes strong:knowledge of aerospace materials including composites, aluminium, titanium, steel and corrosion resistance alloys and their manufacturing processes such as heat treatment and formingknowledge of non-destructive testing techniques, adhesives and other polymer materialsfamiliarity with typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as MIL specs, SAE, etctroubleshooting & investigation skillsattention to detail in the on-going support, and new development of, publications and processes related to M&PGood understanding of Continued and Continuing airworthinessFamiliarity with applicable aviation legislation and regulations (e.g., DASR, EASA, CASA, FAA, Transport Canada) and industry best practices.A Bachelor of Materials Engineering/Science or equivalentStrong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build lasting, collaborative relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.Why Join Our Team?
