HR Reporting Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Reporting Specialist to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and facilitating seamless integration of analytics tools into our HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and Azure to gather, analyze, and visualize HR data.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with the technology team to integrate HR data sources into the Perenti data lake (Azure) for seamless data flow.
- Implement automation processes to streamline data collection and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data by implementing data quality checks and validations, troubleshooting data-related issues/discrepancies.
- Provide training and support to HR team in the use of tools and data interpretation and acting as a Subject Matter Expert on HR analytics and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to HR analytics and implement improvements to HR analytics processes and tools.
Requirements
- 5-7 years' experience in data analytics and analysis, with a strong understanding and exposure to HR processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency working across any combination of Power BI, Excel, Azure Data Platform, and Kimball Data Modelling.
- Experience working with SuccessFactors suite including Report Centre, Report Stories, and knowledge of APIs and integrations would be highly valued.
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills and ability to articulate data, insights, and potential value of data assets.
- Strong problem-solving and high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of data privacy rules and best practice.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver data reporting requirements in a timely manner.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to sudden surges in workload, urgent problems, and changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An interest or work experience in Reward would be desirable.
