Trail Construction Specialist

As a skilled Trail Construction Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in determining the final alignment, shape, style, difficulty, and sustainability of world-class mountain bike trails.
- You will operate mini-excavators and other machinery, following direction from the trail designer to construct trails that blend seamlessly into the landscape.
- Strong leadership skills are essential as you will lead, manage, and motivate the construction team by setting a strong example, ensuring productivity and compliance with project schedules while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- You will oversee trail construction alongside the trail designer, ensuring alignment with project requirements, adherence to OHS regulations and company code of conduct, and communicating professionally with clients and the public as needed.
- In collaboration with the project Site Supervisor, Project Manager and Trail Builders, you will ensure all project specific environmental controls are implemented and adhered to.
- Machine Operation: Operate mini-excavators and other machinery to construct world-class mountain bike trails.
- Construction Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate the construction team by setting a strong example and ensuring productivity and compliance with project schedules.
- Site Supervision: Oversee trail construction and ensure alignment with project requirements, adherence to OHS regulations and company code of conduct.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure all project specific environmental controls are implemented and adhered to.
For this challenging yet rewarding role, we require a proactive individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines.
