Trail Shaper

As a seasoned trail building professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the final alignment, shape, style, difficulty, and sustainability of world-class mountain bike trails.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating mini-excavators and have a comprehensive understanding of quality trail construction techniques and practices. You will collaborate effectively with a team to construct trails that seamlessly blend into the landscape.

• Machine Operation: Operate mini-excavators and other machinery, following direction from the Trail Designer and Site Supervisor.
• Construction Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate the construction team by setting a strong example. Ensure productivity and compliance with project schedules, while providing regular progress updates and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
• Site Supervision: Oversee trail construction alongside the Trail Designer and Site Supervisor, to ensure alignment with project requirements, and adherence to OHS regulations and company code of conduct. Communicate professionally with clients and the public as needed.
• Environmental Compliance: In collaboration with the project Site Supervisor, Project Manager and Trail Builders, ensure all project specific environmental controls are implemented and adhered to.
