Food Safety Certification Program

This comprehensive food safety certification program is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a qualified food safety auditor. The program focuses on assessing compliance with food safety programs, communicating and negotiating to conduct food safety audits, and conducting food safety audits.

The program consists of three core units and four high-risk food safety auditing units. Participants will also complete training in practical hands-on training, working with experienced industry experts, and using provided equipment.
- Unit 1: Assessing Compliance with Food Safety Programs
- Unit 2: Communicating and Negotiating to Conduct Food Safety Audits
- Unit 3: Conducting Food Safety Audits
- Unit 4: Audit of Bivalve Mollusc Growing and Harvesting Process
- Unit 5: Audit of Cook Chill Process
- Unit 6: Audit of Heat Treatment Process
- Unit 7: Audit of Manufacturing of Ready-to-Eat Meat Products
- Practical hands-on training
- Experienced industry experts
- Equipment provided
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Valid USI (User Choice Statement)
- Experience in food services industry preferred but not essential
Upon completion of the program, participants will be awarded a certificate in food safety certification. This certificate can be used to apply for registration as a Regulatory Food Safety Auditor.
