We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at SA Health. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential services directly to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
About You- You will have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, fostering a supportive and cooperative atmosphere and willingness to provide assistance and cooperation to fellow members.
- You will possess sound interpersonal and communication skills for connecting with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances with respect and empathy.
- You will uphold strict confidentiality standards, demonstrating discretion in all interactions and maintaining the privacy of sensitive information.
- You will have the ability to meet deadlines and timeframes, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
- You will be able to perform under limited direction, exercising judgement and initiative in executing day-to-day responsibilities effectively.
- You will have completed an AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- You will have experience in providing a direct care service in a health-related field.
- You will have experience in dealing with aged, frail, or disabled clients.
