Direct Care Worker

SA Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at Barmera Health Service.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our aged care residents. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and dexterity, including transfers and repositioning
- Support with feeding and meal preparation
- Contribute to resident assessment and recording of observations
- Participate in diversional therapy activities and programs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
- Experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide holistic, client-centered care
