About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our aged care residents. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and dexterity, feeding, and general housekeeping of residents' personal environments.
- Contribute to resident assessment and recording of general observations, identifying diversional therapy needs, and completing routine documentation.
To be eligible for this role, you must have completed an AQF Certificate III relevant to the position. You will also need experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field, dealing with aged, frail, or disabled persons, and experience in using computer packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
