About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices.

The successful applicant will work closely with our Engineering Team to create detailed concept design drawings, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents. They will also provide operational support and collaborate with colleagues to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed concept design drawing packages for tender, construction, and as-built projects.
  • Prepare electrical designs, including plans, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and electrical equipment layouts.
  • Interpret plans, regulations, and codes of practice to ensure design tasks meet appropriate technical standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and understand information needed to deliver clean and effective drawings.
  • Maintain project drawings, documentation, and records in an accurate and organised manner.

Requirements:

  • Competent in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role.
  • Able to competently interpret and communicate complex technical information.
  • Computer literate, including competency in MS Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise work, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow through within a fast-paced environment.

Bonus:

A degree in Engineering/Drafting or a related field will be highly regarded.
