Job Overview

We are seeking a senior academic leader to provide disciplinary leadership in Information Technology and Systems (ITS), overseeing the delivery of ITS courses across online and face-to-face modes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the academic development, delivery, and quality assurance of ITS courses, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Provide academic leadership in the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of ITS courses, ensuring high-quality, industry-aligned, and student-centred curriculum.
  • Oversee academic operations, including study plans, timetables, staffing, and academic integrity across all delivery modes and locations.
  • Mentor academic staff, fostering contemporary teaching practices, and embedding scholarly and pedagogical development into curriculum delivery.
  • Engage with industry, alumni, and professional networks to enhance Work Integrated Learning opportunities, graduate outcomes, and the relevance of course offerings.

Ideal Profile

  • AQF 10 qualification or an equivalent blend of qualification and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role preferably in Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and achievement of strategic goals and maintaining a commitment to achieving shared goals.
