The Role

We're looking for a skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences, interactions, and solutions that drive user adoption and meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, perspectives, and goals through regular customer interactions, research initiatives, and evaluative testing.
  • Design Solutions: Balance customer problems with business goals and technical constraints to design solutions that meet our high quality standards.
  • Product Vision: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, leadership, and other designers to contribute to our product vision and design the end state.
  • Engineering Partnership: Work closely with engineers to ensure the implementation of designs meets our high quality standards.
  • Design System: Contribute to the development and evolution of our design system, working closely with designers and engineers to create and share patterns and components.
  • Design Team Culture: Contribute to the growth and development of our design team culture, including scaling design rituals and maintaining our high quality standards.

Requirements

  • Design Experience: Proven experience as a professional product designer, with a strong portfolio of work in sophisticated, modern cloud software.
  • Design Skills: Breadth of skills across the design process, including product discovery, visualizing and prototyping design concepts, and delivering detailed solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings with teammates and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: A high quality bar and attention to detail, with a focus on enhancing the user experience.
  • Pragmatism: Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting deadlines, with the ability to resourcefully solve problems and make pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative working style, with experience working closely with adjacent roles, such as product managers and engineers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Confident in communicating product and design visions, framing challenges and opportunities, and driving towards an outcome.
  • Attitude: A great attitude towards a sense of urgency, risk, and uncertainty about the future, with a willingness to be involved in an exciting journey from the start.
