About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Emergency Consultant to join our team in a well-known regional health service located just 1.5 hours from Sydney.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact on the delivery of emergency services, ensuring they are of excellent quality, safe, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination of emergency services in collaboration with the Medical Services team.
  • Efficiently manage the clinical ED floor and respond promptly to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls.
  • Engage in clinical governance activities, including morbidity and mortality meetings, quality improvement, teaching, and clinical audits.
  • Enjoy a balanced workload tailored to your interests and expertise.
Eligibility Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Specialist qualifications such as FACEM, FACRRM, or FRACGP.
