Aussie Locums is seeking skilled Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience and Triage certification for locum roles across New South Wales. As a preferred partner of New South Wales Health, we offer flexible placements and a wide range of roles across the state.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for Emergency Department nursing and Triage certification. Whether you're looking for short-term flexibility or the chance to immerse yourself in a new community, this is the perfect opportunity to combine career development with travel and adventure. Contracts range from 4 to 12 weeks, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to healthcare in these essential regions.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Current Triage certification and evidence of experience in ED settings
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • IV Cannulation skills
  • National Police Check (within 12 months or willing to obtain)
  • NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Up-to-date CPD, including Basic Life Support and Hand Hygiene
  • Proof of vaccination against Vaccine Preventable Diseases
