Research Director

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our research agenda, drive key programs, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

  • Drive RACS' strategic research agenda and oversee key programs such as FATES and the Specialist Training Program (STP).
  • Lead the design and implementation of a robust monitoring and evaluation framework.
  • Oversee hospital training post accreditation aligned with AMC standards.
  • Guide research projects that advance surgical education and healthcare equity.
  • Disseminate research outcomes across academic and professional platforms.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture and stakeholder collaboration.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Ph D or equivalent postgraduate qualification in research, with extensive experience in healthcare or education research and evaluation.
  • Proven leadership of complex research programs and teams.
  • Strong experience in accreditation, quality assurance, and M&E frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A track record in securing funding and working with government and academic partners.
  • Experience in medical education or health membership organizations is highly regarded.
