Senior Director of Research and Quality Initiatives

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our research, quality assurance, and equity initiatives. As Senior Director of Research and Quality Initiatives, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for advancing surgical education and healthcare equity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Monitoring Frameworks: Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of our research programs.
  • Oversee Hospital Training Post Accreditation: Ensure compliance with AMC accreditation standards by overseeing hospital training post-accreditation aligned with AMC standards.
  • Advance Surgical Education and Healthcare Equity: Guide research projects that advance surgical education and healthcare equity through evidence-based practices.
  • Disseminate Research Outcomes: Disseminate research outcomes across academic and professional platforms to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Foster High-Performance Team Culture: Foster a high-performance team culture and stakeholder collaboration to drive innovation and excellence in research and quality initiatives.
Requirements:
  • PhD or Equivalent Qualification: Hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in research, with extensive experience in healthcare or education research and evaluation.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership of complex research programs and teams, with a track record of securing funding and working with government and academic partners.
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills: Possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive strategic decision-making and collaboration.
