Early Childhood Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Coordinator to join our team in delivering the NDIS Early Childhood Approach service. This is an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families by supporting the delivery of the ECA at a local level.

About This Role

In this role, you will work closely with families to help children reach their full potential through effective planning and support while also fostering meaningful connections within the community.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive the appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
  • Use your qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field to inform evidence-based decision-making.
  • Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to relevant support pathways.
  • Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
