As a Pricing Expert, you will play a key role in optimizing price strategy for customers and supporting sales operations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing customer needs, providing recommendations on commercial aspects, and evaluating target pricing requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customers from an overall business perspective and provide recommendations on price, payment terms, incoterm, and currency strategy
  • Automate and align pricing processes with the rest of the organization
  • Provide input for price negotiations and all price-related issues
  • Evaluate target pricing requests, work on quotations, and facilitate agreements with departments as needed
  • Manage and maintain ERP business systems daily, covering price changes and record implementation for customers, as well as list price and net price calculation
  • Ensure smooth order processing by implementing approved quotes into the business system and resolve price defects in a timely manner
  • Perform updates and maintenance of pricing data in ERP business systems and ensure agreed price changes are implemented into the system
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of pricing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and highlight potentials for improvement
  • Participate in and contribute to pricing projects
  • Facilitate and support our journey towards pricing excellence
  • Identify and suggest areas for improvements related to pricing administration

Requirements:

  • Passion for overall business growth and ability to focus on profitable objectives
  • Customer-oriented thinking and strong communication skills
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or high level of relevant business experience
  • Experience with SAP/MFG-Pro and Salesforce is a strong plus
  • Able to learn financial ratios used in understanding and running a business, meeting profitability goals
  • Quality mindset and desire to deliver results back to stakeholders on time and agreed conditions
  • Strong Excel skills
