About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our security team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our systems and infrastructure.
  • Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy security solutions.
  • Monitoring security systems and responding to security incidents.
  • Contributing to the development of security policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.
  • Experience with AWS products and services.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
