At Stride, we deliver comprehensive care across the community. Our approach addresses service gaps for those who need it most by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention.

This role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care coordination services for children and youth, focusing on early intervention and support of young people up to the age of 25.

We strive to deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical care as a member of the team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute high-quality evidence-based clinical care
  • Address service gaps by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention
  • Promote holistic wellbeing by considering broader determinants of health, fostering collaboration among providers, and ensuring a sustainable, adaptable service responsive to community needs

Requirements for this role include:

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist, OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker, OR Level 2 ACA registration/eligibility
  • Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice in mental health and alcohol and drug use
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf, and establish effective relationships
