Claims Management Specialist

Job Opportunity: Claims Management Expert
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of domestic building insurance claims, including lodgement, appointing and instructing assessors, verification of claims, inviting builders to tender, stakeholder management, and maintaining the electronic claim file.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the National Manager Claims to update and maintain claims management guidelines for DBI claims. They will also facilitate open dialogue with underwriters in relation to policy interpretation and specific claim management issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lodging and managing claims from initial notification through to final settlement
- Appointing and instructing assessors to investigate and verify claims
- Verifying claims and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Inviting builders to tender and managing the builder panel
- Maintaining stakeholder relationships and communicating with administrators and creditors as required
