Support Independence and Choice – Community Support Worker Opportunities

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and help deliver person-centred services across the Eyre and Far North region.

In this rewarding role, you will support older people, individuals with disability, and those who are frail to remain in their homes or residential facilities by providing essential services such as personal care, cleaning, meal preparation, transport, and social support.

Working closely with each consumer, their families, and health professionals, you will help achieve personalised goals and promote independence.

Under our Consumer Directed Care model, consumers play an active role in deciding the services they receive, who provides them, and when. As a Community Support Worker, you will need to be flexible, empathetic, and confident working autonomously while remaining focused on delivering responsive, high-quality care.

The Eyre and Far North region is committed to supporting your growth, with ongoing training and development opportunities that help you build your skills across a variety of care settings.

Our region offers a unique blend of outback landscapes, boutique vineyards, oyster farms, and Australia's best-kept-secret surf coast, inspiring and energising you.

This part-time vacancy involves working 38 hours per fortnight, with salary adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Home and Community).
  • Current drivers' licence and willingness to drive.
  • Current police clearances (refer police check clause).
  • Contactable by telephone.
  • Access to a reliable, registered and insured motor vehicle.
