Maintenance Systems Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Systems Support Officer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a 5/2/4/3 Roster and FIFO from Rockhampton or Townsville.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support and training staff in the use of our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Train staff in the effective use of the current CMMS and input/output systems relevant to their positional requirements.
  • Assess user activity and deliver further training to any personnel that may require it.
  • Document training sessions and significant interactions to ensure accurate training records.
  • Ensure seamless interaction and integration with other CMMS team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver CMMS training to staff across various sites.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to improve staff proficiency.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Improvement Manager to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and support to staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in operational or management functions in the mining industry.
  • Proven experience in training small groups with automated software packages.
  • Strong knowledge of JD Edwards/MEX Maintenance/SQL/VBA highly regarded.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Candidate must have Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 or willingness to obtain.
