Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our Overseas Customer Service team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a quality service for our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Service an end-to-end solution for Overseas Student customers, providing support and advice on their health insurance needs.
- Collaborate with the Overseas Specialist Team to identify opportunities to improve the member and billing agent experience.
- Occasionally present to stakeholders and customers, including international students, university partners, and migration agents.
- Assist students face-to-face, over the phone, via email, and over messaging platforms.
We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual who is great at communicating face-to-face and over the phone in a compassionate and friendly manner. You should be able to think on your feet and tailor your response to different situations and people. You should thrive on being able to solve problems and offer solutions, and support your colleagues and the team around you to do the best job they can.
Additional Skills and Experience- Knowledge and understanding of the health, finance, or insurance industry within Australia is desirable.
- Self-starter with a drive to pursue own learning and development outcomes and results.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while dealing with challenging situations.
- Current working with children check or willingness to obtain one if successful.
- Multi-lingual skills are desirable, particularly in Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, German, French, Sinhalese, Urdu, or Hindi.
- Passionate about customer service and problem-solving.
- TECH-savvy and a can-do attitude.
