We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team at the Government of South Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred services to individuals with complex brain injuries, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Expert Clinical Services: You will provide expert clinical services in brain injury rehabilitation, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of goal-based care plans.
- Lead Interdisciplinary Teams: You will lead the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Represent Allied Health Services: You will represent allied health services on key committees and working groups, contributing to the advancement of care models and patient pathways across South Australia.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement: You will contribute to the continuous improvement of care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced clinician with a strong background in behaviour support and brain injury rehabilitation. You will possess excellent leadership and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Your commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement drives your work.
Qualifications and Experience- Appropriate Qualifications: You will hold an appropriate degree-level qualification or equivalent, which entitles general registration with the relevant Registration Board of Australia and Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Experience in Brain Injury Rehabilitation: You will have significant experience in brain injury rehabilitation, including the development and implementation of care plans.
- Dynamic and Supportive Work Environment: You will work in a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities to influence and lead in brain injury rehabilitation.
