About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and developing individualised Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive behaviour and well-being
  • Working collaboratively with individuals, their families, and other support staff to achieve their goals and objectives
  • Providing education and training to individuals and their families on positive behaviour support strategies and techniques
  • Conducting regular reviews and evaluations of Behaviour Support Plans to ensure they are effective and meeting the individual's needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in allied health or social care, such as a Bachelor of Behavioural Science or a Diploma of Disability
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other support staff
  • A compassionate and supportive approach, with a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and well-being
