Executive Policy Advisor

As a high-ranking executive, you will act on behalf of the Chief Minister to oversee key initiatives within the Treasury and Economic Development Directorate.
About This Role- This role reports directly to the Under Treasurer and collaborates closely with other Executives across the Australian Capital Territory Public Service and with stakeholders inside and outside of government.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on budget-related matters, economic policy, revenue management, financial systems, procurement, and investments.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies that align with the government's objectives, ensuring effective governance and sound financial management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve strategic goals.
To succeed in this position, you will require strong policy and numerical skills, an impressive track record of executive leadership, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements- You must have appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in commerce, economics, law, or a related field, combined with strong policy and numeracy skills.
A competitive remuneration package is available, including a cash component.
