Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a SUE Manager to lead our Subsurface Utility Engineering team.

Key Role Responsibilities
  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the SUE team to ensure high-quality technical products and services are delivered.
  2. Participate in weekly operations meetings with the SUE group.
  3. Develop strong relationships with clients through clear communication, both verbal and written.
  4. Plan and manage project scope, budget, and quality control for SUE projects from proposal to final deliverables.
  5. Coordinate SUE crew schedules and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
  6. Ensure field activities of SUE crews adhere to established standards and protocols.
  7. Collaborate with local municipalities to obtain necessary certifications and permits for SUE work in their jurisdictions.
  8. Monitor SUE activities to ensure performance goals are met.
  9. Lead recruitment, hiring, management, mentorship, and retention of staff to build a self-sustainable SUE operation.
  10. Maintain and develop client relationships.
  11. Coordinate safety initiatives for SUE activities.
  12. Network with local PLS survey leads responsible for daily land surveying operations.
  13. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing clients and expanding into related services such as 3D laser scanning, mobile Lidar mapping, rail surveying, GPS, and conventional surveys.

This role is based in Maine, USA, and requires interested candidates to work out of our Brunswick or Biddeford offices.
