Excavation and Utility Engineering is a vital component of modern infrastructure development, playing a crucial role in mitigating risks associated with new construction projects.

To excel in this field, one must possess a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and project management abilities.

This position requires the ability to lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that all aspects of SUE operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will be able to

  • oversee day-to-day SUE activities to guarantee quality and precision;
  • participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and goals;
  • establish strong relationships with clients through clear and concise communication;
  • manage project scope, budget, and quality control from proposal stage to final deliverables;
  • coordinate schedules and resources to meet project deadlines;
  • supervise field activities to ensure adherence to standards and protocols;
  • liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary certifications and permits;
  • monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure goals are met;
  • foster and maintain client relationships through exceptional service and support;
  • promote a culture of safety and responsibility within the team;
  • collaborate with survey leads to optimize daily land surveying operations;
  • identify and develop new business opportunities through existing networks and partnerships;

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in similar roles and possess the following qualifications:

  • strong technical knowledge of excavation and utility engineering principles;
  • excellent leadership and team management skills;
  • outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • proficiency in relevant software and technologies;
