Human Resources Officer

This role is responsible for providing timely and effective HR services and support to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Human Resources principles and be able to coach and mentor leaders to improve the capabilities required to build a strong value-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR services and support to key stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to improve their capabilities.
  • Support the development and delivery of the Human Resources yearly plan and initiatives such as Talent Acquisition and Retention, Succession Planning and Leadership Development.
  • Manage and resolve workplace and disciplinary issues.
  • Assist in coordinating employee performance review and development plans.
  • Recruit and onboard new employees.
  • Manage employee contracts and agreements, liaising with payroll.
  • Utilize HR systems and reporting.
  • Facilitate site onboarding of vocational students, graduate students and apprentices.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant knowledge and experience in the Human Resources field.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and solutions-focused.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and plan ahead.
  • Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
