Transaction Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Transaction Advisor to join our team. As a key member of the division, you will play a critical role in advising clients on strategic transactions.

Our team offers corporate, government and private equity clients professional transaction advice and services, from the analysis phase through to deal execution and integration.

The goal is to create value for our clients, people and society more broadly at the intersection of strategy, transaction services and transformation.

Transaction Strategy and Execution

As a dedicated team within the division, we help clients achieve their strategic objectives in acquisitions and divestments.

We cover a wide range of operational aspects in a transaction, including value creation, synergy assessments, separation readiness and support, operational due diligence and supporting the integration or separation process.

With an unrivalled track record, you will have the opportunity to be part of the largest dedicated integrations, separations and transition practice in Oceania.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity and creative thinking
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations
  • Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Driven, but with high EQ
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Transaction or organisational transformation experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and presenting key deliverables to clients
  • Identifying key client risks, issues and mitigating these ahead of time
  • Analysing and evaluating a company's financials
  • Managing engagement teams and leading by values
  • Acting as the main point of contact to our clients
  • Reporting directly to Directors and Partners
  • Supporting in business development activities
  • Collaborating widely with the broader division and other teams within EY
