Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the Commercialisation Manager position. This role will be responsible for advancing commercialisation awareness and skills across the University.

The successful candidate will work closely with researchers to identify and assess potential new intellectual property, negotiate commercialisation transactions, and lead all aspects of the commercialisation and IP management process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and assessing potential new intellectual property
  • Negotiating commercialisation transactions, including licences and research agreements
  • Leading all aspects of the commercialisation and IP management process

To be successful in this role, you will hold a postgraduate degree and relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience and a strong track record of success in the field.

You will also have technical knowledge in a relevant area of Life Sciences and demonstrated business development expertise.

This is a continuing, full-time position based at Griffith University's Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus.

Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
