Life Science Commercialisation Specialist

Commercialisation opportunities in life sciences and therapeutics are a key focus area for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with research teams to identify and assess new intellectual property, negotiating commercialisation transactions through business development activities.
- Advise on commercialisation awareness and skills across the organisation, engaging with partners to shape strategic partnerships.
- Oversee all aspects of commercialisation and IP management from early-stage research to deal negotiations and start-up establishment.
Applicants require a postgraduate degree and relevant experience or 5+ years of experience and a strong track record of identifying, managing and commercialising intellectual property in the field of life science based research through licences, research collaborations and/or start-ups.
Requirements- Skills to assess early-stage technologies and understand IP management and protection, including patents and other forms of IP.
- Negotiate commercial opportunities; and proven ability to scope, pitch and negotiate commercialisation transactions.
- Technical knowledge in a relevant area of life sciences and demonstrated business development expertise.
